The Narratives of Andreas Tweakenston is a short story series that takes place in England during the 1880's. Tweakenston is a middle-aged, somewhat bored accountant who quite often imagines what his life would be like if he could operate in the American West ( finding employment as a cowboy in Texas or a lawman in Arizona ). Although well liked by the others in the community, no one can ever pronounce Tweakenston's name properly.
